about the nasville theatre lost & found
a mission statement
My "mission," as it were, is simply to encourage excellence in theatre. To see as many shows as I can, and write about what I find. Whether a production leaves our sides aching from laughter, our faces wet with tears, or our teeth clenched in fury, there is always something to learn from it. Something that should make us strive to be better than we were before.
We all can help to improve theatre, no matter what our roles. From the ingénue to the understudy, from the set designer to the guy who hangs the scrim, from the season ticket holder to the gal who only comes on pay-what-you-can night – every one of us is vital to the process. And we can all strive for excellence, and make every theatre experience the best it can be.
Cheers!
Trudy S. Gordon

"Theatre is when I find my conscious pushed in directions, or perhaps moved to a degree I had not thought possible.
Theatre is about how truthful we can be together by watching humanity at its best and at its worst."
~Trudy
