the nashville theatre lost and found
Trudy S. Gordon, a former actor and director, was born in Britain but has traveled and studied extensively throughout the U.S. When a touring production brought Trudy to Nashville, she knew immediately that she would retire to its lush green landscape and heavy rains.
Trudy no longer acts, but prior to becoming a freelance critic she starred and co-starred in hundreds of stage productions across the U.S. and in London, winning numerous awards along the way.
She has a B.A. in Theatre (with national honours) and has served in vital management positions with more than a few stateside theatre companies.
Readers of a certain age and geographical persuasion may even have seen a young Trudy on the telly. (Hi, Mum!)
Trudy now lives in Brentwood and watches plays.
